Unakit

In a new study from 2023, it was found that the rufous-tailed hummingbird, along with two other species, is able to maintain its flying skills in the form of buzzing flight even during moulting. The results suggest that hummingbirds can overcome the flight limitations caused by moulting by adjusting the angle of their wings during both upstroke and downstroke.
